Colonial 5 Tube Grandfather Clock - Winterhalder & Hoffmeier (Sold)
Item ID: 1489 - Ca. 1920, Colonial Mfg. Co., No. 1386, 5 Tube Grandfather Clock. The 92" tall case is solid mahogany with full reeded columns and redwood burl overlay on the base. The original finish glistens. The 12" round dial has a silvered chapter ring with raised brass numerals. The dial center is pierced and beautifully engraved. There are levers on the dial to silence the chimes and the strike. The fine quality, Winterhalder & Hoffmeier movement plays Westminster chimes on 4 tubular bells and strikes the hour on the 5th bell. Item ID: 1467 - This is a truly rare Chauncey Boardman Dwarf Tallcase Clock - ca. 1825. The completely original case with fine original finish is 53" tall and 15"wide. This is an almost impossible to find clock especially with a mint original Boardman label on the backbaord. The painted dial is in fine condition. Item ID: 1177 - This superb Viennese Standing Regulator of 90 day duration is one of the finest clock that I have ever offered. The oak case with fine walnut color finish is spectacular. The 87" tall and 27" wide, 2 piece, case features full round fluted columns with carved capitols and urns, a dentil adorned top, finely details moldings and 4 large bun feet. The clock has glass panels on both sides. The upper door and lower cabinet door have the original locks and keys. The dial center, pendulum and pulley are beautifully engraved with matching patterns. The dial is also engraved with the date 1888. The chapter ring is silvered. The hands are pierced blued steel. The 90 day movement with deadbeat escapement is of the finest quality and in fine running condition. The clock is a very accurate timekeeper.

Colonial Mfg. Company 5 Tube Grandmother Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1271 - This is a ca. 1920 Colonial Manufacturing Company, Zeeland. MI, No. 1400, 5 Tube Grandmother Clock. The gorgeous solid Honduras mahogany case is 70" tall, 14" wide and 11" deep. The case has redwood burl accents. the case is in truly mint condition. The lower door has heavily beveled glass. The 9" square brass dial has an engraved and silvered chapter ring and applied cast brass spandrels. The hands are blued steel. The fine quality German movement plays the Westminster melody and strikes the hour on 5 - 7/8" in diameter nickel plated tubular bells. The sound is light, delicate and resonant. It is really quite rare to find a tube chiming movement in such a small clock. The clock has been serviced and is in good running order.

Scottish Grandfather Clock - D.Peters, Kirriemuir (Sold)
Item ID: 1478 - Ca. 1820, D. Peters, Kirriemuir, Grandfather Clock. Kirriemuir is the birthplace of James Barrie who authored Peter Pan. This fine quality, all original, Scottish clock is 83" tall, 19 1/2" wide and 10" deep. The mahogany case has fine burled veneers and crossbanded veneer borders. The broken arch bonnet has full reeled columns with brass capitols. The waist has reeded quarter columns with wood capitols. The clock stands on OG bracket feet. The painted dial with seconds bit, calendar and moving moon dial is in mint condition. The spandrels have gold leaf and floral decorations. Campos Hartwigs Grandmother Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1246 - This is a superb quality, ca. 1983, Foster Campos/Gerhardt Hartwigs Grandmother Clock. The clock was a collaboration between 2 master craftsman. Foster Campos produced some of the finest reproductions of early American clock cases and Gerhardt Hartwigs was well known for his superb quality clock movements. In my opinion this is the finest grandmother clock ever produced by Foster Campos. The mahogany case is 60" tall. The inlays, fretwork, curly maple accents, choice of grain in the mahogany, brass work and impeccable workmanship combined with a Hartwigs 8 day time and bell strike movement of the finest quality and a brass dial with silvered chapter ring, applied cast brass spandrels and Campos/Hartwigs engraved silvered hemisphere in the arch have produced a clock that is simply unparalleled. Early Connecticut Tallcase Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1472 - This is a ca. 1780 - 1790 Connecticut Tallcase Clock. The cherry case is 87" tall, 18" wide and 10" deep. The case has OG bracket feet, reeded quarter columns on the waist and distinctive contour to the top of the waist door. The bonnet has smooth columns with wood capitols, broken arch with carved rosettes and 3 turned wood finials. The sides of the bonnet have glass panels. The finish is original with fine patina. The hand painted iron dial has beautiful rose spandrels and flowers and a bird in the arch. The dial has the original paint with no restorations and is in beautiful condition. The date wheel has some loss to the numerals and background. The false plate between the movement and dial is stamped Wilson as is the calendar wheel. The movement, with smooth winding drums, and seatboard are original to the case and in good condition. The attachment of the weight cables is unusual. The cables leave the winding drum, go down around the original pulley where the weights hang, then back up but not through the seatboard as one would expect. The cables hook on to 2 simple metal brackets that attach to the sides of the case below the seatboard. Very unusual and completely original. The pendulum and weights are replacements. Tiffany & Co. Mahogany Tallcase Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1282 - This is a superb, ca. 1895, Tiffany & Company Hall Clock. The mahogany case is exquisite in every detail. The bonnet, waist and base all have full twisted columns with gilt cast Corinthian capitols. Both door locks have gilt cast escutcheons. The case has fine carved details from the feet and base moldings to the edges of the broken arch on the top of the bonnet. Both doors have heavily beveled glass. The dial has gilt pierced and engraved spandrels and engraved dial center, silvered chapter ring and moon phase scale, applied gilt bronze numerals and very unusual moon dial painting. The dial is signed Tiffany & Company, New York. Walter Durfee sold an identical clock under his name.The 8 day, 2 weight time and strike movement is in fine condition striking the hour and half hour on a large deep toned coiled gong. The sound is sweet and resonant. The entire clock is in superb condition and ready to enjoy.
