Chelsea Ball Watch Co. Regulator(Sold)
 Item ID: 1748 - Chelsea Ball Watch Co. Regulator. This is a rare Chelsea Clock Company pendulum regulator made for Ball Watch Company, Cleveland. Only about 150 of these clocks were made. The clock is in fine condition with original 14" dial, movement, glass, pendulum and hands. The oak case is 44" tall. The quality movement is signed and numbered 163466 dating the clock to December 1924. An excellent timekeeper. Email me if you have questions.

Burleigh Girandole Clock No. 33 (Sold)
 Item ID: 1715 - Ted & Fran Burleigh formed the Gilders Workshop in 1972 and in 1973 they had the opportunity to disassemble and measure and then make the plans to replicate an original L. Curtis Girandole. The Girandole case itself is considered by many to be the most elegant American clock design with the finely hand-carved eagle finial and acanthus leaf bracket set off by forty-nine burnished gold trim balls. All aspects of building the exact copy of the Curtis clock were performed by the Burleigh husband & wife team in their own shop to ensure replication accuracy and quality control. There were a very limited number of these Girandoles produced by the Gilders Workshop and we are fortunate enough to have two of these beautiful clocks (one is in our personal collection) which received an award in an NAWCC clock makers competition. Short of spending hundreds of thousands for one of the few original Curtis Girandole’s extant this beautiful clock by Ted Burleigh is as close to an affordable original as it gets for the serious collector of fine timepieces. This clock is in exceptional condition in all respects. The clock is number 33. Ca. 1979. The Perry's Victory glasses are signed by Fran Burleigh and dated 1980. The photos tell the whole story. Chelsea Regulator No. 3 (Sold)
 Item ID - 1692 - Chelsea Regulator No. 3. Serial number 36499 dates the clock to 1914. The 37" tall dark oak case retains the original finish. The mint original dial is signed Chelsea inside the seconds bit and Riggs & Bros, Philadelphia below the hand arbor. The silvered beat scale is engraved with Roman numerals and three C's for Chelsea Clock Company. The movement has a dead beat escapement and maintaining power. A very fine all original example of a Chelsea regulator that is rarely seen. The clock has been serviced and is keeping excellent time. Email me if you have questions.

Ansonia Regulator "A" Wall Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1193 - This is a ca 1906 Ansonia Regulator "A" Long Drop Wall Clock. The black walnut case is 32" tall and 17 1/2" wide. The finish is original and in fine condition. There is minor loss on the black ring which accents the octagonal top of the case. The 12" dial is in fine original condition. The hands and pendulum are also original to the clock. The label on the inside of the backboard is in mint condition. The 8 day time and strike movement is in good running order. The clock is a fine example. Email me if you have questions.

Biedermeier Vienna Regulator - 1 Weight (Sold)
Item ID: 1234 - This is a ca. 1850 Biedermeier One Weight Vienna Regulator. The rosewood case with applied carvings on the door and base is 38 1/2" tall and 12 1/4" wide. The case and finish are in mint condition. The glass is replaced. The 2 piece porcelain dial with intricate cast piecrust surround is signed Jos. Rogelsberger in Krens. The dial is in mint condition with no cracks or hairlines. The hands are perfect. The fine quality, 8 day, time only, deadbeat escapement movement is original to the case and in good running order. The clock keeps excellent time. The wood pendulum rod has a two piece brass front and back bob. The pulley and small weight are original to the clock. Email me if you have questions.

E. Howard Bicentennial Banjo Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1268 - This is a ca. 1976, E. Howard Bicentennial Banjo Clock. This clock was a limited edition produced to commemorate the US Bicentennial in 1976. Quoting the original Howard sales literature the 41" tall clock is described as follows. "The brown Honduras mahogany case has a rounded pendulum box with special bottom bracket, finial and side brackets. The specially designed glasses carry the names of the original thirteen states in gold on a transparent alternation ribbon that permits the gold plated invar pendulum rod to be seen". The background of the glasses is the traditional black border with "Howard red" center. The fine quality 8 day weight driven signed movement is in fine running condition. The clock is marked E. Howard & Co, Boston 95B, serial number 17, 10 76. The clock is in perfect, as new, condition. Email me if you have questions.

E. Howard Carved Walnut Watchman's Clock - Superb! (Sold)
Item ID: 1407 - This unusual E. Howard Watch Clock - Ca. 1870 is an all original example in superb condition in every way. Watch clocks were used, quoting the Howard catalogs, for the "detection of delinquent Watchman on night duty in factories, railroad stations and public buildings." The clock is completely original in every detail including the pin dial which is visible through lower glass in the door. The 8" pin dial is also much larger than normally seen and has the time track engraved in the brass instead of having a paper dial. The black walnut case is similar to the No. 37 Watch Clock but is larger and more ornately decorated with fine carving at the top and bottom. The case is 63" tall & 17" wide. The painted iron dial is 12" in diameter. The weight driven movement is signed E. Howard & Co. The movement has been serviced. The clock keeps excellent time and functions correctly.
