Item ID: Item ID: 1720 - Chelsea Clock Company 10" Special Dial Base & Ball with Superb Original Verde finish. Early large dial Chelsea clocks with original finish are exceedingly difficult to find. This example has a Verde finish in very fine condition and also has an unusual gold dial with raised numerals and pierced hands. Chelsea 12" Dial Nonmagnetic Marine Clock - ca. 1903 (Sold)
Item ID: 1306 - This is an exceedingly rare, very early, Chelsea Clock Company 12 Dial Nonmagnetic Marine Clock. The clock is completely original. The case and movement are numbered 9809 which dates the clock to 1903. The case is 15 in diameter and weighs 22 pounds. The hinged bezel has a key lock with the original key. The case is in superb condition. The silvered dial with Roman numerals is marked Chelsea Clock Company, Boston below the winding arbor and Nonmagnetic above the seconds bit. ID: 1761 - Chelsea Clock Co. 10" Special Dial Base & Ball Feet Clock, aka Commodore. A very fine example in superb original condition. The dial, which is engraved George E. Butler, San Francisco and Chelsea Ships Bell, has the original gold finish with raised numerals and pierced serpentine hands. The case has the original Old Brass finish. Serial number 144021 on movement and case bottom dates the clock to 10/30/1920. The movement has been serviced, keeps excellent time and strikes ships bells with classic Chelsea tone.
