Chelsea 3 3/4" Ships Bell Clock and Barometer on Mahogany Bases (Sold)
Item ID: 1041 - Chelsea Clock Co., Chelsea, Mass., Ship's Bell and Barometer on mahogany bases. The silvered dials are 3 3/4" in diameter. Including the mahogany bases they are 8" wide and 6 1/2" tall. The screw on bezels are 4 7/8" in diameter. The clock case and movment are marked #790625 which dates them to about 1975. . The 11-jewel lever escapement, 8 day movement is in good running order. The ships bell strike has lovely delicate tone. The barometer is working properly. Email me if youhave questions.

Chelsea 4.5" Ships Bell Clock on Mahogany Base (Sold)
Item ID: 1042 - This is a beautiful, ca 1986, Chelsea Ship’s Bell Clock with a 4˝” silvered dial. The brass case, silvered dial, hands and mahogany base are all in excellent condition. The case and movement are marked 861991. The presentation plaque reads “Charles Procknow, September 24, 1986. The clock is 9 1/2" wide and 7 3/8" tall. Chelsea 6" Dial Ships Bell Clock and Barometer - Port of Boston (Sold)
Item ID: 702049 - This is a ca. 1929, Chelsea Ships Bell Clock and Barometer. The 6" silvered clock dial is marked "Port of Boston." The brass cases have been polished and lacquered. The clock case was marked 179145 which was changed to 195145. The barometer case is marked 631. The clock is in fine condition keeping good time and striking ships bells properly. Chelsea 6" Ships Bell Clock & Barometer (Sold)
Item ID: 1064 - This is a ca. 1951, Chelsea Ships Bell Clock and Barometer both on original mahogany bases. The dials are 6" in diameter and perfect. The clock keeps excellent time and strikes ships bells with fine Chelsea tone. The holosteric barometer and thermometer are both working accurately. The brass cases are in great condition with very minor nicks. The mahogany bases are in good condition with very minor nicks and scrapes on the bases. Chelsea Commander - 6" Dial (Sold)
Item ID: 1128 - This is a ca. 1907 Chelsea "Commander" Ships Bell Clock. The brass case with hinged bezel has a 6" "Special" silvered dial with raised bronze numerals and serpentine hands. The clock is 9 3/4" tall and 10 1/2" wide including the mahogany base. The movement & case have serial number 23759. The base has minor dings and nicks. Chelsea Marine Clock - 4 1/2" Dial (Sold)
Item ID: 1147 - This is a circa 1911, Chelsea 4˝” dial marine clock. The highly polished brass case and movement are both marked 69728. The silvered dial with Arabic numerals is in very fine condition as are the hands. The hinged bezel opens on a heavy Chelsea shield shaped hinge. Item ID: 1252 - This is a ca. 1928 Chelsea Clock Company "Mariner" Yacht Wheel Ships Bell Clock. The clock is 14" tall and 10 1/4" wide. The case is solid polished brass with bronze finished ring and base all on a solid mahogany base. The "Special" dial with raised bronze numerals and pierced serpentine hands is 4 1/2" in diameter. The movement and case are numbered 186523. The clock is in mint condition, keeps good ime and strikes ships bells with fine resonant Chelsea tone. Chelsea Pilot House Clock - 8 1/2" Dial - on Mahogany Base (Sold)
Item ID: 1356 - Ca. 1905 Chelsea Clock Company Pilot House Clock with 8 1/2" dial. The clock is in superb restored condition. The case has been polished and lacquered. The dial has been resilvered. The movement has been serviced and keeps time within one minute per week. The movement has serial number 17054 and the case has serial number 17072. A fine example on a Chelsea mahogany base. John Hand & Sons Co, 24 Hour Dial Ships Chronometer (Sold)
Item ID 1129 - John E. Hand & Sons, Philadelphia Ships Chronometer with a 24 hour dial. Chronometers with a 24 hour dial and the necessary added gearing are exceedingly rare. This example was made for John Hand by Thomas Mercer, St Albans, England. In addition, the 4” silvered dial is marked Auxiliary Compensation, No 13886 and has a 56 hour up and down winding indicator. The fine hands are blued steel. The gimbaled mahogany box is 7 ˝” x 7 ˝” x 7 ˝”. The chronometer is in fine working condition. Email me if you have questions.

Russian Marine Chronometer (Sold)
Item ID: 1051 - This is a ca. 1982 Russian, 56 hour, Ships Chronometer. The chronometer is in new condition and appears that it was never used. The dial and the original calibration paperwork identify the clock with serial number 05968. The original manual is also included. Both the inner and outer boxes are complete and in mint condition. The 24k gold plated movement is of the best quality. The hands are also 24k gold plated. The chronometer runs well and keeps very accurate time.

The dial is marked F. C. N., New York and Chelsea Ships Bell 1924. The hinged bezel is 5 1/2" in diameter. The movement has thserial number 123526. The case is marked 741XXX.
