Boston Clock Company Marine Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1377 - Boston Clock Company marine clock in a Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Co. case The heavy brass case marked #2888 has an 8 1/4" in diameter hinged bezel with push button latch. The 6 1/2" engraved, heavily painted dial is signed Crosby Steam Gage & Valve Co., Boston. Crosby was one of the first steam gauge companies to use painted dials instead of the more common engraved, silvered and filled dials. The back of the dial is inscribed "F.L. Webb, 3 Meridian ST, Boston, Mass, USA, Feb 15 '92, #2888 by G.L. Janvrin" The movement is signed Boston Clock Co, Boston, Pat Dec. 28, 1880. The 3 3/4" front plate is finely damascened as is the 4 1/8" backplate. The clock is in good running order.


Chelsea 6" Mariner Ships Bell Clock - ca. 1922 (Sold)
Item ID: 1383 - Chelsea Mariner Ships Bell Clock. The 17 1/2" tall, brass case has been professionally polished and lacquered. The 6" dial with original finish is in fine original condition. Serial Number 182579, on the movement, case and base, dates the clock to October of 1927. The mahogany base has the original finish which is in good condition. The classic Chelsea 8 day movement strikes ships bells on a resonant coiled gong. The clock is in good running order and keeping excellent time. Please view the photos for additional information. Item D: 1334 - This is a ca. 1922 Chelsea Clock Company "Mariner" Ships Wheel Clock. The full bronze case is 17 1/2" tall. The silvered dial is 6" in diameter. The clock is in fine original condition. The movement and case are numbered 151218. The clock strikes ships bells on the hour and half hour. The movement is in good running order. Chelsea 8 1/2" Pilot House Clock - Unusual Iron & Nickel Case (Sold)
Item ID: 1448 - This is a ca. 1917 Chelsea Clock Company, cast iron cased, pilot house clock made for the United Gas Improvement Company, Philadelphia. The case has the original black paint. The dial has been repainted. The pilot house movement is marked with serial number 108870 dating it to between 3/9/1917 and 3/14/1917. The clock has been serviced and is good running order. Chelsea "Mariner" Ships Wheel Clock - 6" Special Dial (Sold)
Item ID: 1355 - Chelsea Mariner Ships Bell Clock. The clock is in superb condition in every way. The 6" special dial with raised bronze numerals and pieced hands is in mint original condtion. The dialis signed Spaulding & Co, Chicago. The case has been polished and lacquered. The movemnt has been serviced. The clock keeps time to within 1 minute per week and has the wonderful Chelsea ships bell sound. Serial Number 151022.

Chelsea 3" Base and Ball Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1620 - Ca. 1906, Chelsea 3" Dial Base & Ball. The polished brass, screw on bezel case is only 5" tall. This little jewel has the original engraved Roman dial marked Shreve & Co. San Francisco. The movement and base are both marked with serial number 23156 dating the clock to 1906. A fine example in every way. The clock is in good running order. Chelsea Neptune - 6" Dial (Sold)
Item ID: 1507 - Ca. 1927 Chelsea 6" Dial Neptune Shelf Clock with superb original finish. The Neptune, while similar to the Base & Ball, is much less common. The Neptune adds a subbase to which the feet are attached. Chelsea only made the Neptune from 1912 to 1929. The movement and case are marked #182880 dating the clock to 1927. Chelsea Neptune - 4 1/2" Special Dial (Sold)
Item ID: 1503 - ca. 1912, Chelsea Neptune - 4 1/2" Special Dial marked Spaulding & Co, Chicago. Serial number 86091 on base and movement. This one of the earliest Neptunes known to exist. They first appeared in the 1917 catalog and were made through 1929.
Chelsea "Admiral" 8 1/2" Special Dial - Original Finish

ID: 1810 - Ca. 1924, Chelsea 8 1/2" Special Dial Admiral Clock with superb original Statuary Bronze finish on case and original engraved, silvered and filled dial. The movement is marked with serial number 157361. The case bottom is marked 164709. The original finish special dial with raised bronze numerals and pierced hands has 3 engraved and filled floral decorations between the winding arbors. Item ID: 1442 - ca. 1906 - Chelsea Clock Company Base & Ball Feet with 6" Special Dial engraved Bailey, Banks & Biddle, Philadelphia. Serial Number 20252 on movement and base. The clock is in perfect restored condition.
Russian Deck Watch (Sold)
Item ID: 1133 - This is a ca. 1986, Russian Deck Watch in excellent original condition. The watch is in the original, 5" x 4" x 3", double hinged deck box with view lid. This is a high quality movement with gold plated plates and wheels and is fine running condition.
Boston Clock Co. "Express" Ships Clock(SOLD)

Item ID: 1419 - Ca. 1889, Boston Clock Company Ships Clock for the railcar steam ship "Express". The clock is accompanied by a framed photo of the "Express" in 1898 and a framed history of the clock and the ship. The nickel plated case is in fine original condition. The silvered dial has the original surface with fine engraving. The clock is in fine running condition. Chelsea 6" Special Dial Desk Set (Sold)
Item ID: 1534 - Chelsea 6" Special Dial Clock and Barometer Desk Set . It is rare to see a Chelsea Desk Set with their Special Dial and equally rare to find an example with fine original finish. The Chelsea 1911 catalog describes the clock as having a plain engraved dial. The Special dial was special order. The movement and wood bottom of the case both are marked with serial number 145074 - dating the clock to 1920. The 8 day movement strikes ships bells. Item ID: 1397 - This is a very early Chelsea ,Series B, Yacht Marine Clock. The case is marked #287 dating it to 1898 to 1900. The silvered dial has the original painted artwork and is marked Chas. C. Hutchinson, Boston, USA. The case and dial are absolutely mint. The Chelsea movement is numbered 136440 dating it to October 1919. The clock is mounted on a 12" X 8 1/2" wood plaque.
