Chelsea 4 1/2" Dial Marine Clock - 5625 - 1902 (Sold)
Item ID: 1506 - Chelsea 4 1/2" Dial Marine Clock. Movement and case are marked #5625, dating the clock to 1902. The painted Roman numeral dial is in superb condition. The dial is marked Chelsea Clock Co. Email me if you have questions.
Chelsea 6" Commander - Time Only (Sold)
Item ID: 1515 - Chelsea 6" Dial Commander with time only movement. This example is very unusual having the Chelsea marine movement instead of the more common ships bell movement. Note that the clock case and base are both shallower than the ships bell models. The case and movement are stamped with serial number 126909 dating the clock to 1919. The bottom of the wood base is stamped with serial number 99615 - ca. 1914. Both numbers are listed in the Chelsea records as "marine". The clock is in fine condition and keep excellent time. Chelsea 8 1/2" Base & Ball Clock (Sold)
Item ID: 1548 - Chelsea 8 1/2" Dial Base & Ball Feet Clock. The original, silvered, engraved and filled dial is signed J.E. Caldwell Co. The movement and wood case bottom are stamped with serial number 183269 dating the clock to 1927. The case has been polished and lacquered and the movement has been serviced. Boston Clock Company Miniature Desk Clock - C1 (Sold)
Item ID: 1604 - Boston Clock Co. Miniature Desk Clock C1. This is an early example of the Chelsea Miniature Desk Clock C1. The clock is in superb condition in every way. The brass case is 5" tall. The silvered, engraved and filled dial is 2 3/4" in diameter. The dial is signed Grogan Company, Pittsburgh. The seconds bit is marked Boston. A fine rare example. Email me if you have questions.
Chelsea Mariner - 4 1/2" Special Dial (Sold)
Item ID: 1420 - This is a completely original Chelsea Mariner Yacht Wheel Ships Bell Clock. The original Statuary Bronze finish on this clock is in exceptional. It is rare to find earlier Chelsea clocks with their original finish is such fine condition. In additon the clock has the original unrestored 4 1/2" Special Dial with silvered background and raised bronze numerals with fine Serpentine hands. The dial ois superb. The ships bell strike movement has been serviced and is in good running order. The movement has serial number 235,392 dating the clockto July, 1937. It will be very difficult to find a better all original example. Email me if you have questions.
